After attending the December 2005 International Symposium in Xuzhou, a high level Central Asian delegation, together with representatives from the Silk Road Initiative and CICETE, went on a study tour in China.
The group travelled to Shanghai and Suzhou for a tour of Chinese companies, industrial parks, government agencies and business associations. The trip provided an overview of Chinese business climate and investment opportunities, laying the groundwork for future Sino-Central Asian cooperation.
